Sternauto is one of Germany’s largest automobile trading groups. Formerly Mercedes Benz exclusive, they have evolved into a multi-brand dealer. To support this shift, they asked us to adapt their brand to reflect a broader market strategy – one that positions them as a mobility expert with a diverse offering, independent of the Mercedes brand.

LOGOTYPE

Only subtle adaptions of the logotype were possible. In a small but crucial change to the symbol, we opened a space between the two central elements, to create a new versatile shape that can be used to bring movement and visual flow to all kinds of layouts. We then unified the STERNAUTO symbol with a refreshed wordmark.

SIMPLIFY TO AMPLIFY

This newly discovered negative space forms a double funnel—the brand’s dynamic core shape that tells a story of elegant performance: STERNAUTO simplifies mobility service to a point of meaningful focus that unlocks a richer experience – a seamless expansion towards endless possibilities. The directionality of the shape allows Sternauto to guide the customer through the fast changing market, communicating clarity, innovation and forward thinking.
